Renting
What is TRON energy and why do I need it?
Every smart-contract call on TRON — a USDT transfer is one — consumes energy. If your account has none, the network burns TRX from your balance instead, at the network burn price. Renting energy for the moment you need it is cheaper than burning, and far cheaper than freezing your own TRX for it.
How much energy does a USDT transfer need?
About 32,000 when the recipient already holds USDT, about 65,000 when the recipient address has never held it. Other TRC-20 tokens vary; our presets cover the common cases and you can enter any amount.
How do I pay?
Send the exact amount shown, in TRX, from any wallet or exchange to the address shown. The amount carries a unique micro-tag in its last digits, which is how we match your payment — so it must not be rounded. No memo, no account, no app.
How fast does the energy arrive?
We watch the chain for your payment; once it is seen, a staker delegates energy to your address. Energy is usable about three seconds after that ("delegated"), before final confirmation ("active"). End to end it is typically under a minute.
What happens if you cannot deliver?
The order goes to "refunding" and the payment is returned to the address it came from, automatically. If you paid after the payment window closed, that payment is returned too.
Why did my order end before the term was over?
By default, once the address has spent the energy — or has not used it for a while — we reclaim it and the rental ends; you are billed for the time it was on your address. If you need it held for the whole term, tick "hold for the full term" when ordering.
Can I rent to an exchange deposit address?
You can delegate energy to any activated TRON address. Whether the exchange uses it is up to them; most deposit flows are driven by the exchange's own hot wallet, not the deposit address, so usually there is no benefit.
The address I entered was rejected.
Energy can only be delegated to an account that already exists on-chain. A fresh address becomes an account when it first receives TRX or a token. Addresses on sanctions lists are refused.

Do you hold my TRX?
No. Your TRX stays frozen on your own account. You grant our operation key a TRON active permission limited to Vote, Delegate and Undelegate; it cannot freeze, unfreeze, transfer or change permissions. You can revoke it any time from your wallet.
What do I earn?
A share of every rental your energy serves, plus a standby share for keeping capacity ready, paid in TRX to your address — and the network's voting rewards, which land on your account natively. The Earn page shows recent annualised rates.
Can I unfreeze whenever I want?
Yes — that operation was never granted to us. Rentals already delegated simply run out; nothing is locked on our side.
Integrating
Is there an API?
Yes — everything on this site is built on it. Retail orders need no key; prepaid B2B, relay and partner features use an API key. See Developers.
What is the gas station / relay?
A way for wallets to let users send USDT when they hold no TRX at all: we build the transaction, the user signs its txID locally, we delegate energy and broadcast. Fees come from the partner's prepaid balance or a second transaction the user signs.
Can I resell under my own brand?
Yes. Partner accounts add a margin on top of our price; it accrues per order and is withdrawable in TRX. Write to partners@trxvolt.com.
